This mini virtual conference features Peter Bromberg, followed by a regional breakout session. Cost will be $10 for ILA members or $15 for non-members.

Peter has nearly 30 years of experience applying a human-centered approach to the transformation of library services, creating value and positive experiences for people and communities while fostering healthy, equitable, and effective organizations. As Associate Director for EveryLibrary he advocates for libraries on local, state, and national levels, and coaches and consults with librarians, boards, and associations to develop effective messaging and build strong community and political support for library funding.

Join us to learn more about the First Amendment and intellectual freedom, the elements of a good collection development policy, and talking points to help you successfully address questions and concerns from your patrons, board, and elected officials. Following the main presentation, you will have the chance to discuss issues and successes with peers in your region. This will be a great opportunity to network and share support.
